My 22nd Birthday!

This Thursday, December 10th made the mark of my 22nd birthday! As you read in the previous post how this particular year meant to me.

Unfortunately, I had three finals for Fall quarter, one each in the morning on Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday, so I couldn't really celebrate all that much on the actual day. But that's O.K., since it made Friday night, December 11th more special, as it was officially the start of holiday break for me.

I wanted to celebrate by having all my friends see the latest Disney animated film, The Princess & the Frog. Watching the movie was fantastic. It really brought me back to my childhood days of watching Disney films, during their renaissance period. Tiana has to be right up there with Belle on my favorite Disney princesses now.

We then celebrated at my neighborhood's clubhouse for some cake & games. Take a look of a slideshow of pictures throughout the night:

All decked out in my birthday celebration outfit, inspired by The Princess & the Frog's Tiana.

The most awesome present my sister made for me- a painting of a robot wearing bunny slippers!

The crew!

Hannah & I express our love for Robert Downing Jr. & Jude Law.

Apparently, we're going to help Sherlock Holmes & Watson solve a mystery...

The vegan chocolate cake I made for my party. Mom got all the The Princess & the Frog decór.

Cake Time!
Can't remember what I wished for, but it was a good one & probably came/will come true in the following year.

I guess I should've warned you that we are an awkward bunch of fun people.

See what I mean?

Being 22 is great, but what are my plans next year for my 23rd birthday?

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Treader!

To all my friends,

Thank you everyone who made my party happen! I had such a wonderful time, and hope you did too. I loved all of my gifts and the love (so cheesy, but being around everyone was the best part)! I couldn't as for anything more.

Evan Taubenfeld at the Café du Nord in San Francisco

Evan Taubenfeld is coming to town!

Evan is set on appearing in the acoustic "Snakes & Suits" tour with This Providence and The Academy Is... this late winter/early spring. My mom, sisters, & I went to see him at the Café du Nord in San Francisco on March 17th (Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone!). We had a blast seeing him perform and seeing (and getting kisses from!) him during the meet-&-greet (we also met frontman Dan of This Providence before the show! He was promoting the band's album, Who Are You Now? that came out today).

Check out pictures from the night!

That's me!

The girls are revving up for a good show!

Our hand stamps... and somehow intentional shoe/floor pictures are amusing.

He was just like "Pumpkin Pie"!

I'm so pimp.

NOW... Check out this video of "Pumpkin Pie" that I took!

Apologies for the sound, particularly in the beginning (stay tuned, it does sound better!). It was a digital still camera, not the best for audio/motion capture. With that said, I think it came out well over all.
